This Independence Day, Give a Child the Freedom of a Healthy Heart

Every year on 15th August, the nation celebrates the freedom and independence that India attained long ago. But for several families, freedom is incomplete because their child is born with a congenital heart defect (CHD). The only thing that stands between these unfortunate children and a life of normalcy is resources that many don’t have access to.

This Independence Day, Genesis Foundation, one of the best NGOs to donate money, urges you to think of another kind of freedom – freedom from an ailment that could be cured if only there were someone to bear the expenses of the treatments that can range between Rs. 2,00,000 to Rs. 4,00,000.

Freedom that Many of Us Take for Granted

Every year, more than 2 lakh babies are born with congenital heart diseases in India. For families surviving on less than 20,000 rupees a month, this seems like more than just a hurdle. Left untreated, CHD can often be fatal or disabling. These are children who deserve the freedom that we enjoy today. Freedom from an illness that can be cured with the right treatment.

Genesis Foundation has been working relentlessly for the past 25 years to bridge this gap and give children from economically backward backgrounds a new lease of life. Based out of Gurugram, Genesis Foundation is a 12A and 80G certified trust registered under FCRA to receive donations from foreign countries as well. Through our initiative Save Little Hearts, we reach out to lesser privileged families with children suffering from heart ailments and help them get treated in reliable hospitals with pediatric cardiologists. Your donation to charity goes straight to the children. Donors also have the option to know exactly which children have been saved by their donations in NGO.

Why Should You Support Them?

While searching for the best NGO to donate money this Independence Day, it’s important to keep in mind a few things. The NGO should have a certain specialization, proven transparency and a visible impact. Genesis Foundation has all three. A quarter of a century of working in the field of pediatric cardiology speaks for itself. Our authenticity is proven by the fact that we have 12A and 80G certifications and are FCRA registered as well.

When you make a donation in NGO, you entrust the organization with your hard-earned money. When you choose Genesis Foundation, what you get in return is the satisfaction of knowing that your contribution has borne fruit.

To date, we have supported more than 5,500 children with the help of donations to charity and continue to do so even today.

How Can You Support?

There are multiple ways in which you can support the noble cause of helping children with congenital heart diseases.
