KIDS TREATED

Screening Camps for Congenital Heart Defects

In 2018, we took our partnerships with hospitals to the grass-root level with a two-fold benefit

01

RAISING AWARENESS

To create awareness about Genesis Foundation - Save Little Hearts

02

DOORSTEP CARE

Diagnosis and treatment for children with CHD
Children are scanned at these camps and those detected with heart issues undergo more detailed medical investigation and finally those identified with a Congenital Heart Defect and meeting our following support criteria are offered assistance for surgical intervention:
0-18 YEARS OF AGE
MONTHLY INCOME OF RS 20,000 OR LESSER
DOCUMENTATION TO SUPPORT THIS NEEDS TO BE PRESENTED

By penetrating into remote areas of the country we are able to identify and treat children who otherwise do not have access to affordable and quality care. Conducting more camps allows us to expand our impact footprint as we fight to reduce child mortality caused by CHD.

The camps conducted in association with Genesis Foundation enabled us to understand the magnitude of the problems of congenital heart disease in selected parts of the country. A stark realization was the fact that there is very little available for care of children with heart disease in most of India. These camps provide an avenue for care for these children, many of whom were otherwise condemned to premature death or a life of extreme disability.
