These lines from Mother Teresa define our work when we go and meet the children who have been given financially help through corporate donations to nonprofits like us to get their children treated. At Genesis Foundation, every child we support becomes a part of our extended family.

Working with one of the best NGO for heart treatment gives me the privilege of living the journey of unsung heroes.

The smile of the children and gratitude of the families when their days are filled with fear, uncertainty and countless questions is what we usually count on. Travelling to meet the children after their surgeries is not just the visit, eventually it is an experience filled with emotions.

My recent trip to Jaipur was not just a visit, it was an emotional journey of reconnecting with the families whose children had underwent critical heart surgeries. Walking through the hospital corridors where these children once came for treatment brought back memories of their difficult beginnings but this time those memories were replaces with relief and gratitude.

As I was on the way back to my hometown, I carried with me memories of their struggles and still a smile on their faces.

The families welcome us with warmth and gratitude, share us their journeys with honesty, the challenges they face and the strength they took to move forward. In those moments, I realized that healing goes far beyond surgery. When I see the smiles of children and the relief on the faces of parents, I realize that impact is not always measure in numbers but in hope, smiles and second chance.

This visit also reminded me of the importance of strong partnerships. It is our partner hospital, along with dedicated medical team and our generous supporters who provide CSR support for children that play a crucial role in making these life-saving surgeries possible.

In the end at Genesis Foundation it is not just about saving lives, it is all about restoring childhoods, strengthening families, keeping hope alive and standing beside families when they need it the most. Because every heartbeat matters and every child deserves the chance to live a healthy and happy life.
