Screening camps have always been a vital part of our mission to save children diagnosed with Congenital Heart Defects (CHD). Our core belief is that no child with a CHD should die because of a lack of financial resources and resources. To achieve this, we extend our reach to areas where medical facilities are limited. As part of this effort, we conducted a screening camp in Faridkot, with the support of our CSR partner, HDFC ERGO General Insurance Co. Ltd., in collaboration with Paras Hospitals. We provided free screening check-ups for the early detection of CHD to families living in and around Faridkot, Punjab.
A total of 40 children were screened, and 11 children were identified as in need of intervention.
