We conducted our second screening camp in Bathinda and our third overall, in collaboration with HDFC Ergo. The camp was organized in partnership with Paras Hospitals, Gurugram with the aim of providing free screening check-ups for the early detection of Congenital Heart Defects (CHD) to as many children as possible.
We organize these screening camps in areas where medical facilities are limited and awareness for congenital heart defects is relatively limited too. Our goal for these camps is to provide doorstep healthcare to people facing challenges in accessing quality healthcare facilities for child screenings and medical condition awareness.
With the support of HDFC Ergo, we aim to conduct more screening camps in different parts of the country to screen more children and identify those in need of life-saving treatment. Through these camps, we aim to expand our reach and ensure that every child in the queue has access to free CHD screenings.
A total of 61 children were screened and 19 children were identified as in need of an intervention.
