As an NGO for child heart surgery, we align our work with SDG 3 – Good Health & Well- being by:

  • 3.2: Ending preventable deaths of newborns and children under five through funding life-saving heart surgeries for infants and neonates from low-income families, tackling CHD, a leading cause of infant mortality.
  • 3.4: Reducing premature mortality from congenital heart defects through early diagnosis, timely surgical interventions, and improved survival rates.
  • 3.8: Ensuring universal health coverage by providing free or highly subsidized treatment at our partner hospitals.

We also align with SDG 5- Gender Equality by ensuring girls receive equal access to treatment, challenging gender bias that often deprives them of care, and running campaigns that highlight their journeys, encouraging education and empowerment.
