Vineet, 13 years from Haryana, is suffering from a heart defect known as VSD and requires surgery at Jaypee Hospital, Noida. His father Satpal is a driver and mother Sunita stays home and looks after their two children. Vineet is a school going child, he attends class 7 and wants to naturally continue to live a healthy, happy, and normal life. To make sure that this happens a surgery is required. However, his father cannot afford the surgery on his monthly income of Rs 6800 and needs help to meet the financial requirement for the surgery.
Swati, 2 years from Gwalior, is suffering from a cardiac disorder and requires a PDA device closure at Jaypee Hospital, Noida. Her father Bhoorendra is a laborer and earns a monthly income of Rs 3000. Him and his wife Rajvati have two children and on his earnings it is impossible for him to meet the costs required to ensure Swati gets the treatment for a healthy life.
Ahad, 1 years old from Uttar Pradesh, is suffering from a heart disease called Bidirectional Glenn, where impure blood coming from the upper part of the body through the superior vena cava is routed directly to the lungs, avoiding one chamber of the heart. The surgery has been completed, however he will need a second surgery called Fontan between the ages of 4-5. The surgery was done at Max Hospital, in New Delhi. His mother Fatima and father Arshad manage their home and three children with a monthly income of Rs 4000. Arshad is a laborer and was naturally struggling to put together the funds required for his son’s surgery. They approached us, and we were committed to financially supporting the treatment required.
Amisha Gupta, 3 years old Mumbai, is suffering from a heart disease and required PDA Device Closure, scheduled at LTMG Hospital, in Mumbai itself. Her father Anil works in a snack shop and mother Pushpa, is a housewife who looks after Amisha and her other sibling. Anil earns Rs 5000 per month and needed financial support for his daughter’s medical costs.
Anaya, 3 months from Uttar Pradesh, is suffering from a congenital heart disease and has been prescribed a Balloon Pulmonary Valvotomy (BPV) in which the pulmonary valve is opened with a balloon. This procedure will take place at Apollo Hospital, in New Delhi. Azeem, the father works in a juice shop and earns Rs 3000 per month with which it is impossible to bear the medical costs incurred for treatment.
Anjali Pardeshi, 7 years old from Solapur, is suffering from heart disease and requires a Device Embolization, which entails the closing of additional pathways of blood streams to the lungs by coils. This procedure will be conducted at Reliance H N Hospital, in Mumbai. Her father Narayan is a laborer and earns Rs 2000 per month, with which is it close to impossible to put together funds for the treatment required to save their daughters life
Azra, 6 years old from Uttar Pradesh, is suffering from heart disease and has been prescribed an Ebstein’s Repair. In her ailment the tricuspid valve present between the right atrium and right ventricle is displaced from it’s normal position since birth and needs to be corrected surgically. This has been scheduled to be done at AIIMS, in New Delhi and Azra’s father Naved, who is a laborer does not have the funds required to pay for the surgery. He earns Rs 3000 per month, with which he supports his family, that comprises of his wife and seven children.

1 month old was born in a government hospital in Mumbai. Few days after birth doctors noticed the child had severe breathlessness and fever, for which the child was referred to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital for further treatment. After the baby was shifted and stabilized, the echo reports showed that the baby had a hole in between the Ascending Aorta and Pulmonary Artery, the two main blood vessels of the body. This condition was called Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA). The parents were counselled that surgery was the only option to save the child. The father, who was a painter, earned Rs.6, 000 per month and had no means to fund the surgery for his child. Today, however, he was extremely grateful to Genesis Foundation for funding and supporting the procedure which saved his life.
Kaustubh Sawant, three years old from Maharashtra, is suffering from a hole in the upper chamber of the heart – Atrial Septal Defect (ASD) which needs surgical closure. This procedure is scheduled at Fortis, in Mumbai. His father LavuJayram, is a farmer and earns Rs 3000 per month, with which it is impossible to put together the funds required for surgery.
Khatija Ahmed, 3 years old from Mumbai, is suffering from a congenital heart disease and requires a Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA) device closure. This surgical procedure due to take place at LTMG Hospital, in Mumbai cannot be afforded by her mother Rubinabano, who single handedly manages her two children. Her husband, passed away so Rubinabano works as domestic help and earns a humble amount of Rs 4000 per month. She seeks financial support to give her daughter a chance to live, and we are committed to helping her.
