From Compassion to Change

Today, I had the honour of volunteering at Fortis Hospital, Shalimar Bagh, through Genesis Foundation’s volunteer program. It wasn’t just a normal day; it was a day that strengthened my faith in the quiet yet powerful impact of human kindness.
I had the privilege of meeting Tarini, a 13-year-old girl with a heart of dancer and a moving spirit. When her family learned she needed heart surgery, it felt like her dreams could be shattered. The news could have easily defeated her, but Tarini showed great strength. She did not give up. With the help of the Genesis Foundation, her family got the financial assistance they needed to cover the surgery expenses.
Genesis Foundation walked in, offering crucial financial support to Tarini’s family. It’s amazing how a donation to charity can become a driving force for positive change that the world needs and Genesis Foundation is a shining example of how this support makes a difference.
Watching Tarini after her surgery was like getting a new ray of hope. Her smile and energy were contagious. The surgery had been a success, and she was on the road to recovery, her spirit unharmed by the challenges she had faced. It drove home the importance of supporting NGOs that are truly making a difference at the grassroots level. It made me realize on a deeper level, the importance of helping organizations that truly make a difference. They are truly the best NGO to donate money.
This experience solidified something I already believed that even a small act of generosity can have a ripple effect, transforming someone’s life in ways you can’t even imagine.
