CEO Chefs ‘Share-a-Smile’ Lunch

The CEO Chefs ‘Share-a-Smile’ event was the result of suggestions made by Captains of Industry who indicated they personally wished to help GF in any way possible. This led to a unique idea, what better way than a lunch organised by  CEOs who could volunteer their time and use their culinary skills to promote a worthy cause.

The first CEO Chefs Share-a-Smile lunch took place in January 2005 and was supported by ITC Maurya Sheraton Hotel & Towers, Moet Hennessy and Foster’s India Ltd. The media coverage on TV and print was well received. This unique idea and the success of the event resulted in this event being held annually. Click here  to see the media coverage .

December 2005: The next CEO Chefs “Share-a-Smile” event took placwe  in Mumbai. This event was supported by ITC Grand Central Hotel & Towers, Hutch, Moet Hennessy and Fosters India Ltd. – Click here to know more.

February 2007:  A nice wintery morning in February 2007 in Delhi. Ten CEOs check out their culinary expertise at a fund-raising lunch for Genesis Foundation. Fun, sun and money being raised for a more-than-worthwhile cause.

November 2008: A gorgeous day in Gurgaon, awesome CEOs who took their job rather seriously, lots of noise from the salad and dessert counters. Record-breaking fund-raiser supported by Grey Goose , Carlsberg, Crowne Plaza Today Gurgaon and lots of prizes were won. Click here to see the media coverage.

January 2010: After a dismal week of foggy days, Gurgaon finally had the sun shine brightly when we held our fifth CEO Chefs ‘Share-a-Smile’ lunch fund-raiser at Crowne Plaza Today, Gurgaon. The venue was the Petal Garden which looked radiant in the sunshine. The blue and white theme colour of ‘Grey Goose’ was everywhere on the tables and  umbrellas. Click here  to read more.
