Kid's Drawing for Genesis Foundation

In today’s age and time when many medical conditions can be cured by the advancement in medical science, no child should have to die because of lack of funds to get treated. Our children are from families who are below the poverty line and from homes and orphanages. A child needing treatment for any of the following ailments – cancer, heart conditions, thalassemia, organ transplant, and extreme deformity will be taken under the care of Genesis Foundation (GF).

The Foundation pays the hospital the cost of treatment directly though the funds that we’ve raised. Genesis Foundation’s core team and volunteers are in constant touch with specialists dealing with each child’s treatment.

Through word of mouth, NGOs, hospitals, homes, and individuals get in touch with Genesis Foundation when they come across a child needing financial help for medical treatment. After due diligence, the case is taken up. Once a child is under our care all medical needs are taken care of. We raise funds through the Genesis Foundation’s Share-a-Smile events, Give Life a Chance events, and through art and cultural programmes. We also have partnerships through our Care programme for discounted medical care as well as our corporate sponsors through the SmilesGEM programme for on-going support. From time to time, we issue alerts to our readers and supporters through our blog to raise funds that are needed urgently. Click here to read about Haripal and here to read the story of Mary.
